The teaching of English in a different way

For many years teachers have wanted to get improve the education. Each year they look methods in which their students can learn successfully. Nowadays, the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has helped in student learning, it has been a tool in their homework and studies. At the same time, the ICTs has helped the education to move forward because it is a  material support in the classroom. The ICTs can be good or bad in the classroom. It all depends on the way you teach English.

For a long time, in Colombia he has had a low level in English, students have not had enough motivation to learn English as necessary in their life. For that reason, it is good to implement interactive learning techniques where students feel interested in the classes. They can learn more through a video, a platform than a traditional teaching.If the technologies in education are implemented in a good way, good learning results will be achieved for them.

Second, you can teach differently by changing the methodology and instructing them to the proper the good use of technologies.When you are in the university the professors taught you some methodologies that you can implement with your students, all depends on you about which way you want to use the technology in their learning and the same way you can teach them that they can use to good things as study or understand more the topic not only chat in the social networks. For example; you can teach them some web pages where they can search information to understand the topics or learn more vocabulary and grammar through videos or exercises online.

On the other hand, They can be distracted by being on a computer or on a cell phone doing other things than studying.As you know in Colombia has not still a good use of the technologies when a teacher decides to implement that in their classes, they have the risks that their students do not do the tasks according to the classes like watch the video about the explanation of grammar or send a writing via drive because of most of them can use the internet to other things that they will be distracted with video games online, chatting or search other things but you need that your students be aware that they can learn or waste time on the computer.

Finally, It depends on you as you encourage your students how the use of technologies can be of great help at the time of learning another language. If you have students who have maturity with the use of technology, as a teacher did a lot, made them change their point of view regarding the handling of this, so it is important that in their classes when using technology, they raise awareness about the times to use it as a hobby and the time to study.
